Rounding out the first 90 days of 2010!

Day 84 – March 25

Just a cute photo of Oscar. He’s sitting on Lala’s porch across from our house. Typical Oscar…take my picture!

Day 85 – March 26

Ama was ready to go back to San Angelo and needed to be taken to Uvalde to meet Mandy. Since Mom was busy getting ready for prom, Howard and I took her. We picked up Oscar to tag along. He was a little shy with her, and doesn’t understand her since she speaks Spanish. But they got along just fine.

Day 27 – March 27

Just some goodies for the GT Bake Sale. I made several items, since Mary told me I had to make twice as much as usual since I had two kids in the group!! Thanks!!

Day 27 – March 28

We’ve never been to the Palladium in San Antonio, even though we’ve been wanting to for so long!! It was kind of a treat for the kids, for us to take them to see “How to Train Your Dragon” in IMAX 3-D. I was impressed with the theater on the outside, but it was awesome on the inside, too! And to be honest, even though the tickets were $15 each, the concession prices were reasonable.

We got to the theater an hour before the show started since it was opening weekend and we didn’t want bad seats or to have to sit apart. Well, we sure got our choice of seats!! The boys were pretty good about waiting. The seats were comfortable and I liked that the 3-D glasses came in kids’ and adults’ sizes so that we could wear them without them falling off. Not only was the movie great, but we really loved the IMAX 3-D experience and plan on going back to watch “Clash of the Titans” soon!

Day 90 – March 31

A local person came by the office today to bring this trophy he found. Actually he said someone else had it and traded it to him for a few arrowheads. This trophy looks to be about 95 years old and has three names inscribed of people from 1915, 1916, and 1917. We’re not sure what the trophy was for, but it may have been a writing contest and perhaps sponsored by the newspaper. I’m going to look for more information!
